From the very beginning back in 1910, our founders built strong partnerships, and those partnerships, along with hard work and commitment, helped us survive the Great Depression and grow to where we are today.
Great companies, built on partnership.
OUR HISTORY
From cotton mills to fiber optics
In the early 1900’s we were instrumental in electrifying the South’s textile industry and burgeoning hydroelectric plants. For our founders, one thing was certain: we must continually change to meet the needs of our customers. Over the remaining century and into this new century, our companies helped power paper mills, pipelines, hotels, hospitals, communications companies, and even Atlanta’s Fox Theater. Today we bring electricity and renewable energy to a wide range of key industries throughout the Southeast.
OUR PEOPLE
A legacy of values.
K.D. White, the founder of White Electrical Construction Company, left a legacy that carried through 3 generations. A legacy of business integrity, strong partnership, and ingenuity. After becoming an employee owned company in 2000, the dedicated employees continued to operate under the same values established by their founder. As a holding company, we strive to carry on these values across all of our subsidiaries. We operate with integrity, strengthen our partnerships by delivering solutions that bring our customers peace of mind, and are consistently looking out for the best interest of our partners. We are determined that our company and its subsidiaries will continue the same legacy the White family left us: integrity, partnership and ingenuity for generations to come.
